Introduction to How Horses See the World

Before we learn how to ride, care for, or play with horses, it helps to understand how horses experience the world around them.

Horses notice things people often miss — movement, sounds, space, and how others are feeling. When we learn to see the world the way horses do, we become calmer, kinder, and more thoughtful around them.

In this game, you’ll practice noticing like a horse — just by looking, thinking, and paying attention.

No horse is needed.
Just curiosity.

How to play

  1. Look closely at each scene. Take your time. Horses are great observers, and thoughtful horse people are too.
  2. Read each question carefully and choose the answer that makes the most sense to you. Sometimes more than one answer can be correct.
  3. Keep going at your own pace. This game isn’t timed, and there’s no score. Learning happens by noticing, not rushing.
