Explore 12 Pony Breeds of the World
Ponies come in many shapes, sizes, and personalities. Some are small and shaggy, while others look like tiny sport horses built for jumping and competition. In this course, kids will explore 12 pony breeds from around the world and learn how to recognize the features that make each one unique.
Through simple explanations, illustrations, and observation activities, students will discover how pony breeds developed, what jobs they are best suited for, and how horse people describe the differences between them.
This course is designed for horse-loving kids whether they ride regularly or are just beginning to learn about horses.
