The Graceful Grand Dame of the Pasture

Pepper is a stunning Knabstrupper mare with a coat as spotted and sparkly as a starry night. At 25 years old and 16.2 hands tall, she is one of the most experienced, respected horses on Pony Island.

Long ago, Pepper shone brightly in the dressage arena. She danced through elegant movements with her rider, showing off beautiful circles, smooth transitions, and her signature floating trot. Even though she’s retired from competition now, Pepper still carries herself with quiet grace — and she loves teaching the younger ponies everything she knows.

Today, Pepper enjoys peaceful days in the pasture, taking slow morning walks, grazing on sweet grass, and enjoying long grooming sessions (she insists on being brushed daily). The younger ponies adore her. They call her their Grand Dame — their wise and gentle mentor.

Pepper’s Pony Path is Home School, which means she is patient, thoughtful, and loves helping others learn at their own pace.
